The journey has not always been easy. We kept building when stopping would have been easier. Now we are ready to move from bootstrapping toward scale—with the right capital and strategic support.
For more than two years, a small team has bootstrapped DoGood through technical challenges and difficult development stages—with personal commitment and determination.
We have managed development and invested in the platforms, infrastructure, subscriptions, and services needed to build DoGood. The walkthrough below shows the actual MVP and its current development state.
Our next milestone is bringing DoGood to mobile. Launch preparations are underway; release dates and store availability are not yet announced.
The problem we exist to solve
The concern is bigger than any single app. Across Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok, families are asking what social media is doing to young people's wellbeing. We believe its purpose must return to people—not simply keeping them scrolling.
When time spent becomes the goal, young people can face compulsive use, harmful content, and relentless social comparison. Families should not carry the burden of platform safety alone.
DoGood's MVP connects positive videos with community challenges, practical ideas, and creator support. The ambition is participation that leads people to do something good—not just consume an endless stream.
Help people learn, create, belong, and do good together. Youth safety, responsible moderation, and healthy participation must be development priorities—not marketing promises.
A documented concern—not just our opinion.
In October 2023, a multistate coalition sued Meta, alleging that Facebook and Instagram used features designed to addict children and teens. These are allegations, not presented here as court findings. The U.S. Surgeon General's 2023 advisory also stated that social media could not be concluded sufficiently safe for children and adolescents.
DoGood is in development. A positive-content mission alone does not prove safety; safeguards and outcomes still need to be implemented and validated.

Step 1 of 10
DoGood's purpose: connect positive content with community action and support.
Founder personal statement · Alejandro Klein
“I am not building another social media platform. I am building a movement.”
Too much of social media revolves around vanity, sensationalism, excessive consumerism, and the relentless pursuit of attention. DoGood exists to challenge that model. We believe the world deserves a different kind of social media.
Our vision is a place where children discover content that inspires their curiosity, young people connect beyond negativity and superficial validation, and adults participate in a community built around purpose, creativity, generosity, and positive action.
My ambition is to build DoGood into one of the world’s leading social media platforms—and ultimately the global leader in positive social media. Not a slightly better version of what already exists. Not simply a niche ethical alternative. A new direction for social media.
Positive content. Positive interaction. Positive communities. Positive social action. Positive impact. We want to combine the creativity people expect from modern social platforms with a different philosophy: attention transformed into something meaningful.
Creators building communities around purpose. Users finding opportunities to help others. Social interaction contributing to real-world action. Technology becoming a force for good—not simply a machine for maximizing screen time.
We aspire to reach millions—and eventually hundreds of millions—of people. A platform parents can trust, young people want to use, creators want to build on, and organizations want to partner with. An ecosystem where business, entertainment, and social impact can coexist.
We know the incumbents are enormous. We know changing user behavior at global scale is one of technology’s hardest challenges. We embrace that challenge because enormous problems require enormous ambition.
This is bigger than an app. This is a new direction for social media. This is DoGood.
Do good. Be part of the change. Change social media. Change the world.
